We adopted 2 brother kittens just about 2 weeks ago. I've read articles online about how to socialize them, but it doesn't seem to be working.

We have them all camped up in our bathroom with everything they need since we do not have a kennel to keep them in. All they want to do is stay in the bathroom and sleep all day. During the night they'll come out into the hallway and play with one another, but never during the day.

Is there something we are doing wrong? How can we get them to want to come out of their "home" (aka bathroom)? We have had some small accomplishments with them like the really don't hiss at us anymore, they're okay with us holding them for a little while, and we've even gotten their motors going.

Any advice would help!
