So this is a bit of a long story but here we go, so I had became homeless and started living in my car so I found someone to take care of my cat until I could have a place to take him, but I ended up getting arrested and put in jail for 5 months, without notifying me or contacting any of my friends to take him in or find somewhere temporary for him, when she couldn't have him anymore she let her ex take him without my permission. I have Vet records and many photos of him in my phone and many people including my friend who found him abandoned as a kitten who I got him from for testification, would I be able to get my cat regardless of if someone else had him chipped while I was away.
