Has anyone been put in a situation that they know that they canāt take care of a dog but the family doesnāt do anything for their dog and just treat it like itās a toy? My family and I are Latinos but Iām the only one who was born in the US and I share this immense passion and empathy for animals, however thatās not the case with my older siblings. My older siblings also have teens who donāt want to put a good amount of time for the dog so I feel like Iām the one who has to take charge even though the breed isnāt meant for first time owners. I blame one of my older siblings for not being considerate of the breeds needs and only got the dog ājust becauseā. He deserves a loving family that can cater to his needs. However, I canāt even do anything like find him a new home because he isnāt mine. Iām just so upset and frustrated.
