How can I better brush my dogs teeth?
Post Body

So my dog (mini poodle) has trouble sitting still letting me brush her teeth, specifically her back molars which are the most important. I brush the exterior part fine enough but she’d constantly open up her mouth and close her teeth on my fingers (it’s a bit painful but not so much) and struggle away when I brush the inner part. Does anyone have any advice on how to better handle this?

Additionally we did only start brushing her teeth later in life so she’s not completely used to it and would do this sort of struggle every time. Albeit a bit better over the years but still she makes it difficult 😣

Also I’d like to know for all those who do brush their pets teeth do you put a small amount of tooth paste on your brush for each molar because I only apply the tooth paste once but I have this gnawing suspicion that I should do it for each molar? And do you have any recommendations for tooth brushes for small dogs?
