Today I say goodbye
Post Body

My 6yo lab mix, Daisy developed epilepsy and was diagnosed back in July. For a while, the meds were working with no side effects.

She had a burst of cluster seizures in the past week, yesterday she had 6 in one day. We took her to the vet and of course they said we can do A,B,C but nothing is guaranteed. Her vision is basically gone, her personality is completely different, and I feel like my baby is already gone.

I moved to the city by myself 6 years ago, and after losing my dog of 18 years, I fell in love with my Daisy and had to rescue her. I lost my husband earlier in that year, then my childhood dog.. and Daisy and I took the city on together and she Helped me through my grief.

I made the decision to bring her home and spend her last night with her.

Iā€™m heartbroken and just needed to put this out into the world.
