I cried for days and had such a huge heart ache. She passed while I held her and I felt her body slowly pass and take her last breath. The dream helped me to understand that it had been the right choice as she was not eating and wouldn't want to go out for walks. The dream felt almost like she came to visit me to say everything was okay.

In the dream we were in a park that had a lot of trees and open grass everywhere. It was the golden hour of the day and there was a nice breeze. The grass had some yellow flowers spread out across the lawn. We were walking at first through the area and somehow she took off and I let go of the leash. She ran around and I tried to chase after her to make sure I wouldn't lose her again. But then she stopped running and looked at me with her big smile. It was then I knew she was happy and wanted me to be happy.

I still miss her so much and I wish I could have her with me one more day to hug her and kiss her. It still hurts as much as it did the first time. Luna
