Those of you that can relate.. did you leave your abusive situation and did this mean leaving behind your pet? How do you navigate the situation being abusive and unhealthy but knowing if you leave it means you don’t see your pet (because the person who owns the pet is the abusive one). Can you justify leaving your pet behind along with an abusive situation ? How do you manage/ cope knowing your time with them is limited? Sorry about the dark/ sad topic , figured perhaps some in this thread might have some insight. 🫶
