any songs that help you process your grief?
Post Body

my baby is still here for awhile longer but i donโ€™t know how long the steroids will keep his cancer at bay. i keep singing this song to him. i learned that itโ€™s originally a camp song sung at the end of camp, but i first heard it in the marcel the shell movie, which deals a lot with grief. feel free to share any songs that are helping you process your grief and any lyrics that particularly resonate.

Linger - Jenny Slate

Lyrics: Mmm-mmm, I wanna linger Mmm, a little longer Mmm, a little longer here with you

Mmm-mmm, it's such a perfect night Mmm, it doesn't seem so right Mmm, that it should be my last with you

Mmm-mmm, come September Mmm, I will remember Mmm, the happy days I spent with you

Mmm-mmm, and as the years go by Mmm, I'll think of you and sigh Mmm, that it's, "So long" and not, "Goodbye" Mmm-mmm
