Feeling bigger and bulkier?

Post Body

40F, CW:160 at 5’3”. I’ve been lifting heavy with a trainer for three months now, and I feel so bulky? Is this possible? My partner even made a comment about my arms looking bigger last night and it seriously hurt my feelings. I want to be thinner and leaner not bulkier. I guess it doesn’t help that I feel like a linebacker anyway because I have such wide shoulders and big arms in general. Should I stop lifting? Also, I have been eating over 100 grams of protein a day and tracking calories around 1300-1600 a day. I also run three times a week. I did 115# deadlifts last night and I’m super proud but I cannot get bigger. I already feel like my body is a weird shape anyway. I just can’t win. I need to build muscle to burn more calories but it’s already making my body look worse.
