Finally got under 120 as of this morning!
Of course I don't have a "before" from my highest starting weight (take the progress pics, people!) but I see and definitely FEEL a huge difference.
I started toward the end of March with CICO and exercise (mostly running, some strength) after realizing I was hitting the snacks hard most nights of the week and my weight had been creeping up. I have two young kids and had mostly resigned myself to carrying some extra weight, but didn't feel great about it and wanted to try to get some of my oomf back.
Before kids, I ran marathons and never tracked what I ate because I was logging so many miles I could eat whatever I wanted. But now, ain't nobody got time for that. So I decided to do daily weigh-ins and track my food. It has been a journey full of ups and downs, but I'm so happy I have done it and so proud of myself. I love CICO because I actually am not restricted in anything I eat, or any time I eat, I just choose to eat smaller portions and I focus more on protein and fiber so I don't have energy crashes.
Just wanted to celebrate! Hope that's okay!
