Petite girl problems

I need some flattering clothes as I continue to lose weight. Everything is just frumpy, jeans look odd, cute skirts hang too low, I have looked at prob every petite section on google LOL and I have a lack of fashion sense coupled with this shorty body. Any suggestions on non jeans, non workout clothes for bigger petite person? The 12s are too big and the 10s fit right but everything looks.. Awkward..

Stats 5'0 Waist 29 inches Hips 40 Inches Bra band size 34 bust 39 inches

169 pounds Weight goal is 135 pounds but until then want to have at least a few outfits that are cute.
