So I'm 5'3, 26. (f), and I've been dieting on and off since I was 17, working out too. Over the years, it's become harder to lose weight, i normally eat 1300 cals thanks to calorie counting apps, and despite working out 5 days a week, ive mostly stayed the same. Recently I've started lifting heavier, and a friend of mine m(26), told me to try bulking for 2 months which is eating for 2500 calories, and then cutting for 2 months but only with a slight deficit. I mostly see men doing this successfully, but not sure about women.
If it works I'm all for it, after all who dosent love eating more? But im worried it won't and I'll just gain excess weight Coming here for advice ladies, let me know what your personal experience was/any tips.
