How to gain muscle?

I am 4โ€™10โ€ 21f, not super comfortable sharing my exact weight but itโ€™s under and Iโ€™d like to gain muscle and be back in a normal weight range.

I have never consistently went to a gym or worked out. I donโ€™t even know how to get started, Iโ€™m signing up for an LA fitness membership in a couple weeks. what are some good routines, supplements/powders (safe for breastfeeding preferably.), websites, etc?

Right now I canโ€™t even run a 1/2 mile, as much as I hate to say. I cannot carry my 30lb toddler up stairs without being winded. So beginner friendly please ๐Ÿ™
