People who are very lean while being muscular, how did you achieve this?

What’s your TDEE (or NEAT if you’re super active) like? Are you in a deficit or surplus? How often do you weight lift? Do you do any other exercises outside of weightlifting? I’m really lost and and dissatisfied with where I am. I don’t want to lose muscle but I need to reduce my bf% .
I would love to hear others experiences who achieved the “cut” or lean look while being muscular. Thank you!!
