5โ€™0 tall, 25 years old, overweight with joint pain. What kind of exercises can I do?

I have a lot of joint pain especially in my knees, hands, and feet. I also donโ€™t really have money for a gym membership but I do have access to a pool and a walkable area around my apartment. What types of things should I do to ease myself into being more active and not completely destroy my joints.

My job is relatively physical as well so I need to make sure I am not so sore/tired that I canโ€™t perform my job. Does anyone have any advice?
