I have always been active but really want to look and feel fit. I’ve been doing cardio my whole life but started incorporating strength training (in a half-a$$ed manner tbh) the last year or two. I’ve been progressively overloading for two months now and for cardio I alternate between cycling (high resistance) and running (which I just enjoy). I’ve been tracking for a little while now and eating about 1600 calories and aiming for 120g protein. I’m wondering why I still look soft and what I should do differently - bulk? cut? Just be patient? Also one note, I’ve dealt with several eating disorders over the years so went from super skinny 10 years ago to overweight about 5 years ago. I’m finally at a normal weight and have maintained it but I’m wondering if somehow my body looks soft because of loose skin/the weight loss… I went from 90lbs to 150lbs and now weigh 129, so my body has been through a lot. But I’ve seen other people who have done the same and they’re still able to look fit so I’m hoping it’s possible for me too! Thanks in advance!
