Just found this community, absolutely love everything I've seen so far and decided to take the leap and make a post 🥴 It's not B&A but uhhh hope I tagged right regarding the rules.
I'm 5'2, 22yo, 154lbs... used to be 115 and lean asf but due to job changes/life events happening have seriously gone down in eating habits/excercise. Boyfriend and I have been going to the gym consistently since Oct, I know I'm a lot stronger but have seen pretty much zero weight come off - I'm sure it has to do with diet. We split days, Mon = back, Tues = abs, Weds = arms, Thurs = abs, Fri = legs. I work nights at a restaurant and am walking consistently for 4-5 hours a night.
I've started eating a lot cleaner and cutting back on carbs, but haven't been doing it long enough to log any progress. Recently (today) read about eating at a deficit, TDEE estimates eating 1688 calories a day for loss. Would like to get to 120lbs.
Do you ladies have any tips on maintaining muscle while losing weight/exercises that help/literally whatever? Really looking to change a few areas of my life for the best, this being a huge one. I'm too young to feel the way I do and want to make the most out of my body/this time of my life.
Thank you all!!
