Advice for a 4’11 beginner
Post Body

Hi everyone I’m just starting out with my health journey, trying to lose weight and feel stronger. I’m currently around 132 lbs, down from 138 at the start of the year. I initially lost 6lbs but haven’t been able to lose anything for months, mainly because of a few big life changes.

I recently started a new job with a 1 hour 20 commute and have been too tired to work out afterwards. When I calculated my TDEE it said it is 1500 while my Apple Watch says I burn 1350ish daily when I don’t exercise. I’ve been trying to eat 1300kcals a day but I’m struggling to keep to this. I’m also a grad student with upcoming deadlines, but this should relax for a bit soon.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips, either for exercising after or before work or sticking to around 1300kcal? I don’t mind if progress is slow but I ended up gaining this week, I think because I ate more over the weekend after being hungry in the week.

Any advice is appreciated!
