Post Body

So for a bit on context, in the second photo I was busting my ass at the gym, tracking calories AND doing cardio twice a week. I was always bloated, not making progress in the gym, and my weight wasn’t budging. I was so frustrated that I gave it all up. I stopped lifting weights, cut out cardio, and started doing yoga daily instead along with lots of walking. I stopped tracking and instead focused on eating whole foods with an emphasis still on my protein and fats. After a few months of daily yoga practice I felt my body getting stronger, the practices were getting easier, so I added pilates into my routine. I won’t do them both on the same day but I’m currently doing pilates about three times a week.

I also stopped weighing myself as focusing on the number was negativity effecting my mental health.

Looking back I think my body was holding onto a lot of inflammation because I was stressing it out way too much and not allowing for recovery.

Currently I don’t know my weight or measurements, I still do yoga and pilates and I’ve only recently (past three weeks) started going back to the gym but I’m easing into it really slowly. I definitely have pilates to thank for my abs which I’ve never seen in my life lol. My current diet is high in protein and fats with most of my carbs coming from white starch’s (easy to digest) like bread or rice OR fruit and veg. I eat a TON of fruit every day like way more than recommended lol but it works for me.
