For context, I was heavily restricting my calorie intake and ended up very underweight few months ago. I was struggling with food and exercise till March of this year. I barely use to eat and do so much cardio and exercise to get small as possible. But from March 15, I started eating more and now I have significantly increased my calorie intake and since past few days I am doing a lean bulk so that I can gain some weight. As someone who always tried to remain as skinny as possible now I am now quite comfortable putting on weight. Today at gym there is this guy few years older than me who mocked me. He said in front of 3-4 other people that I seem to be like those people who can’t gain muscle and just put on belly fat. My belly is one of my biggest insecurities and my whole restrictive eating began in order to get a flat stomach. I actually tried to simply just brush it off but it is not the first time he has made fun of my body, multiple times he has referred my belly as fat and despite being skinny my stomach is large and when I sit I have huge rolls and it bulges. Not only that he also several times today told a guy and a girl that I have mustache and laughed at me. I tried to simply just ignore it but I can’t help but feel awful about the comments. I know this sub is a place to discuss about fitness and routines and not discuss about our personal moments but I feel so hurt that I can’t help but share it with you guys.
