To crop or lengthen?

I spontaneously brought a pair of these cropped pants. Except since I'm 5'2", they're not so cropped. There's enough depth on the hem that I could have them lengthened to full length (on me), so I'm trying to decide whether to have them tailored up or down. I got a couple of suggestions on r/femalefashionadvice to crop but still can't make up my mind.
If it's any help I plan to wear them for work with flats or very low heels, business casual.
