Petite pull on jeans (no buttons) that aren't skinny fit?
Post Body

5'0, 155ish lbs, balanced torso, short legs, 25-26" inseam, usually a M/L or 12/14, depending on stretch, though 14s fit around my tum but are too big in the crotch hips & legs.
I have a disability that affects left hand dexterity & strength some days, I can't do buttons. But I like the "look" of jeans, especially light to mid blue denim. I'm tired of black yoga pants, most petite yoga pants don't seem to come in colors other than black & navy, and most are weird in the rise, and always with the length. My torso length has been called balanced, so it's not short or long. I think mid to low rise might work for me?

and with wide shoulders and tiny feet I'm not so sure skinny cut looks good on me. all my weight is in my tum, because of medical issues, though I used to be 98 lbs, I'm now 155. It's all tum, I have slim hips and legs.

I'm a 25-26" inseam, sometimes I can pull off 27". I know American Eagle has extra short, but they all have buttons. I'm wondering if I can alter a pair with elastic or a snap instead of a button, but all their stretch/softer jeans are in skinny cut. I don't think I can handle hard no stretch denim.

Sometimes bootcut tends to overwhelm my lower leg, and as much as I love the 70s, the poof is just....eh. I think I'd prefer a straight leg, slight bootcut, I could try skinny but I'm afraid to look like a lolipop on a stick.

So far I tried Lee Women's Sculpting Fit Pull On Jean in 12P (like the Anchor color though), but they fit all kinds of weird, baggy hips & crotch (a common issue for me, probably because my belly is bigger than my hips. The leg was not slim fit as all, but a very baggy boot cut.I tried petite Pajama Jeans, same issue.

I just want comfortable well fitting pants that don't look like office pants but don't look like yoga pants either
