I had a frustrating thought today. Why is it that no matter your weight, you just always look a little "off" as a petite woman? I am short and skinny and it makes me look like a teenager. I am turning 25 this year Kaia Gerber is 22 but skinny on her does not mean looking like a teenager. Now being heavy and petite is no better either, it just sucks?
People always think I'm 18 and I have to fight extra hard to be taken seriously, which sucks in professional settings.
I know I know I should just appreciate whatever body type I am and definitely not compare myself to supermodels. But what about you girls? Do you experience the same frustrations? What is your take on petite body types?
I know what you mean, I had that feeling up until in my early 30's. Now at 38, it is nice to get mistaken for my young 20s.
