I’m Matt, a volunteer in Orange County, CA. I am actively working with the campaign to organize OC and I'm technically a mod here, although I assure you I'm purely a ceremonial figurehead. Though I’m not a paid staff member of PFA, I can help guide you to the right resources if you have questions I can’t answer. Here’s everything I know about volunteering in California.

Find your local Team Pete

Search for a nearby event on the official website: https://www.mobilize.us/dashboard/californiaforpete/events/

California is HUGE, so you can imagine we have a lot of local groups to choose from. When you sign up for an event, you’ll receive the local organizer’s contact info, so you can get in touch with them directly. Make sure to ask how to be notified of upcoming local events!

If you don’t see any events near you, let me know and we’ll connect you with the right person directly and/or find remote opportunities for you to get involved.

Local Opportunities

Efforts are primarily focused on voter outreach to ensure we get as many votes for Pete as possible in each Congressional District.

How you can help:

• Send Texts
• Host House Parties/Meetings

Be sure to get in touch with your local organizers to help with outreach!

Remote Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are available locally and also remotely. Don’t forget, one of the most effective ways to help Pete is through relational organizing using organize.peteforamerica.com.
