Thoughts about moving
Post Body

Hello! I am from Indianapolis and feel like my soul is slowly dying here. It's cloudy for about half of the year, and freezing cold for half of the year, and I feel trapped with my job prospects. I have a BS in chemistry and currently at basically a lab tech making about $42k a year.

Do you think I'd be able to find similar work in Petaluma? My sister has offered to let me stay with her there for a while, so that's why I'm looking in to Petaluma. I think that I should stay here and save for a bit, but my mental health has deteriorated massively over the last three years since undergrad.

What do you think would be the most challenging part of this move? I feel that the biggest problem would be missing people from home, like my mom and my (two) friends. (Also I'd have to break up with my boyfriend because he doesn't think he could find a job out there that would allow us to live together on our own, so he won't move).
