Hello! I just adopted a new birb who has a disabled wing. I adopted her from GLPR and they were up front about her disability so I’d thought she was already used to a flightless life. However, I’ve seen her try to take flight a few time during the days I’ve had her, which makes me think she’s not accustomed to being able to fly. Thankfully she hasn’t fallen very far whenever she does, just whatever few inches her working wing will get her. Does anyone have any tips in helping me care for her? I have some platforms set up that she can jump on but I’m at a loss as to how to help her adjust. Any ideas would be appreciated!
