We have all been forced to interact with these people. You dare to say no to them or inform them they need to provide what they agreed to and they go crazy. “I’m a lawyer so I know you have to give it to me!” “My spouse is a lawyer and he’s gonna sue you personally for doing your job!” “My friend is a lawyer and she’s gonna take everything you have!” If you believe any of these things in most cases you are either the dumbest lawyer or the lawyer you know hates you for dragging them into this nonsense.

1. I have nothing worth taking. Like seriously nothing.
2. You really have no grounds to go after me for doing the job I was told to do and doing it professionally while you screamed at me and used every cuss and slur there is. We record everything and we keep every correspondence buddy. They will see me being professional and calm and you being crazy.
3. We have multiple pieces of evidence saying you are wrong and all you have is “because I say so!”
4. Just go fuck yourself.

This happens daily in the customer service world. Today for me multiple times. Dude called us mad with a problem. I had to patiently darn near squeeze the problem from him as he screamed at me over the phone. He threatens to quote “bill me personally for his time” which I had to hold back the laughter due to how dumb that sounds. I found the route issue of his problem was him, told him this politely and fixed the problem and he still proceeded to insult me like crazy. Buddy you did something wrong, you called us screaming and belittling, I fixed the problem while keeping as civil as anyone could. Where exactly are your grounds to bill ME for your time?

Honest question for the lawyers out there. If you are one of these people……. WTF is wrong with you? You think you can bully me? Best of luck.
