Man I can’t stand customer service calls sometimes. People call with an issue, I fix it, they then complain it happened in the first place, I both fix the situation and explain, they then fling ever single insult they can think of.

Funny enough we in customer service industries are expected to stay calm as much as we can as they berate and perhaps even threaten. Obviously I can hang up and I do warn them that is exactly what I will do if this continues but then they just call back.

The truly funny part is as they threaten everything from “oh I’ll get you fired” to “oh I’m gonna report you to every authority there is using this call as evidence” i eventually inform them.

“Sir it is your right to do these things and I will in no way stop you. However as this is a recorded line these authorities will have access to the fact that I remained calm as you went on with your insults and threats..”

I’m a calm person. Like sometimes people think it’s unsettling. But should you try to make good on your threats you will I no way enjoy the outcome.
