Hello mice people!!

I’m no stranger to owning small pets—my partner and I currently have 2 senior gerbils, a rabbit, and 2 rats. Our friend, who works at a pet/reptile store, recently found a baby mouse who had fallen on the floor from the ceiling (occasionally mice will escape from the feeder bins and start feral colonies in the wall), who he nursed back to health and bonded with another mouse he bought from the feeder bins. My boyfriend agreed that we could take the mouse and its friend, but we’ve never owned mice before and have NO idea how to set it up.

They’re currently in a bin, but our friend will want it back eventually. What size enclosure do we need (and what type? Aquarium, bin, cage?)? What sort of bedding should we use, and how deep? What food brands/types? What sort of toys and enrichment?

Any advice is welcomed and appreciated! As with the rest of our pets, the plan is to spoil the everloving crap out of these mice, and I’ve found that Reddit pet boards are a really great resource! Thanks in advance :)
