At home/off counter treatment for fur mites?

Is there any good treatments for fur mites that don’t require a vet visit? I think my mice may have them (itchy and there’s slight bald spots where it itches itself)

Like maybe a spray or topical treatment for the cage or mouse itself? I just want to be careful because I know some of that stuff can actually be harmful like you shouldn’t use off the counter flea treatment on cats and idk if that applies to mice or not

I use oxbow paper bedding so I don’t think that the type of bedding is the issue
