Post Body

I have a 3yr old 75lbs rescue lab/pit mix. Two years ago he got attacked by their cat gato. Gato is a huge 16lbs of cat, he is kinda territorial. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to move back in with them. Now they have a small kitten, 4 other dogs, and a bird. My Dog has been an only pet for his life. Now that I’ve moved back in, I’ve got to find a way around this. A way around it that doesn’t require hitting or abusing the animal. I can’t keep them locked in different rooms for the rest of my time here. Which might be infinite. Could someone please give me some tips on socializing them together.

I’m trying to use a spray bottle and verbal cues. I’m not sure if that’s going to be enough. He has insurance but I don’t want him to get hurt or the cats to get hurt.

Please help, thanks.
