Beyond vs. Impossible vs. Farmland
Post Body

Edit: If there are any other brands you would like to see reviewed please leave them in the comments.

Beyond Burger: 2 patty package, approximately $6.

I was shocked. While a little on the pricey side for just two patties, they are more then worth it. Easy to cook up, I did just a simple frying pan. Basic lettuce, tomato and onion. Mayo and mustard.

The texture of these patties is very similar to their beef counterparts. A little pink center, to the untrained eye, and you might not even notice that this isn't meat. But the topper. It had a smokey, straight from the grill taste. This is the going beyond part of the beyond burger. 5 scrumptious stars.

Impossible Burger: 2 patty package, approximately $5.

These are a great Veg burger. Still a little pricey for just two patties, but overall not a bad deal. Like the Beyond, I cooked these up in a frying pan. Lettuce, tomato, onion. With mayo and mustard.

The Impossible burger has a good texture, though not as good as the Beyond. The flavor will conquer your craving for a burger, though these do have a distinct soy aftertaste to them. Would recommend giving them a try. 4 tasty stars.

Farmland Burger: 4 patty package, approximately $5.

Good quality burger. Being a 4 patty package, these come in as the best overall value. Fried up in a pan once again. I continued with the same classic toppings. Lettuce, tomato, onion, with mayo and mustard.

Texture and flavor of the Farmland were very similar to the Impossible burgers. These also had a soy aftertaste, though neither were unpleasant. Definitely filled my belly and put a satisfied smile on my face. Value wise, I'd suggest keeping these on hand. 4 happy stars.

I was able to eat great burgers all around. All three brands are making great alternatives to a meat burger. But one definitely came on top. A head of the pack by a good margin, the Beyond Burger just stands out. It's meaty, flavorful and just frankly better then a beef burger. Yes, I said it. It is better then a beef burger.

While all three will satisfy your craving. Shell out those extra dollars for the Beyond. It really does make a difference.
