So my wifes uncle has CIBC and for years his TFSA has been in this Tax Advantage Savings Account which currently gets him a very low interest.
I am trying to figure out with him how to move the funds to his TFSA GIC account, does anyone know if we can do this online or do we have to set up a meeting with the bank to get it done? He English is very poor, so trying to get help over the phone where they need to validate him is very difficult, so we will either do online if possible, or get a meeting at the local branch where they have an agent who speaks his language.
Thx all and have a profitable week ahead!
