TFSA Contribution Limit for Newcomer, only the year you arrived?

Hi there,
I am a newcomer to Canada. I came in November as a tourist, but it wasnt untill January 2022 that I got permanent residence. I therefore thought that I would only have the normal 6000$ TFSA contribution room. However when I log into CRA My Account it tells me that its 6000$ (2022) 10.500$ (from 2021).
Is this normal or is it a mistake that it adds the 10.500$?
