I'm 21 with a full G, trying to get through college without any financial support from my family for different reasons, which I can barely do. My auto insurance is actually pretty cheap, but I think that is going to increase because I made the mistake of speeding to let someone merge in (I know I should have just braked :( but it was a split-second decision), received a ticket for speeding however it was dropped to a "disobey traffic sign". Would this ticket significantly affect my insurance rates even though it is my first ticket? I'm super stressed and heartbroken about it.
