Post Body

Hello all,

I have been working at a hospital in Montreal, Quebec for 7 months. Im being paid $22.03 an hour now, but I will be bumped up to $24 an hour since im offically licensed. I may be pushing it, but I want to at least try negotiating to get a higher salary (I was thinking maybe 25-26$/hr). I'd like to ask for some advice on how I can get negotiate and is it even possible to negotiate considering I work at a public sector? Any advices would be helpful. Ask away for any additional information.

Thanks.

Update: I want to thank you all for your responses, it’s nice to know we can turn to reddit for a variety of advice to consider.
