Hi guys I need some advice on this. I had a crown put in my tooth for dental work and at the time my insurance covered 80% and I owed 543. A year later today I get a call saying I owe 800 dollars because insurance didn't cover a portion of it and they only just realized. Then said I had told them I would pay later.

I was like No what I owed I paid. They are threatening to take me to collections. I don't know if after more then a year you can comeback and make this false claim.

I no longer have insurance as I lost my job so 800 dollars now is too much. Can someone tell me if there is a place I can file a complaint? Should I go to small claims court? Please any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
