Toronto Rental Market during COVID

Post Body

Hey guys, wanted to get some opinions on the rental situation in Toronto during covid. My budget is currently 1700 tops, been looking in the market for the past 4 months or so. Due to covid19 i started noticing that prices are slowly dropping (now one bedroom going for 1800, compared to 1900 before pandemic).

Now the question is - would it be wise to wait until the end of summer, since we’d be expecting less demand for rentals, or just lock in the “discounted” price tag rn?

EDIT: 1 bedroom rental. Budget is just for the place (utilities and extras are on top)
