Hi guys,
Total newbie to investing. I have a question. I have to put 30k in rrsp this year due to my accountant bungling my taxes for last couple of years. I was thinking of investing in REIT with Centurion. They offer RRSP with a 150 dollar fee for it. I have 10k in rrsp with RBC that I am moving to tangerine as I am following lazy couch potatoes advice. I was getting about 3 percent return from RBC. I have used my RRSP in the past 15k for downpayment so i will put some funds towards that. I also have about 6000 from RRSP at work that is being matched by employer. Perhaps I can use part of this to start payback?
So is it worth investing in REIt? Stick to couch potato? With a baby in hand I am not sure what to do any advice would help. Please help
