Post Body

Hi all,

First time submitting my GST return for my sole proprietorship in BC.

I initially filled out my return 3ish weeks back and it said I had $0 Amount owed.

After filling out my return and my income tax return, I got my regular tax return back.

However, I noticed I missed a bunch of big GST items for my business. So I resubmitted my GST return and it showed I have a refunded amount of $9k.

Two questions: 1. Do I get paid this $9k back to me as a cash deposit? 2. Do I need to update my income tax return as well to include this? If so, which line or section? Iā€™m Using WealthSimple tax.
