Hi guys,
My company recently opened the opportunity to invest in the SAFE round they are carrying and I was wondering if I should invest as an individual or if I should start a business and invest through the business?.
The other point is that if I register a business just for this, then I will need to open a bank account and have a minimum amount of money there while paying monthly fees.
The amount of money I'm planning to invest is not a lot and it is basically gambling money at this stage. Nobody knows for sure how things will work out.
Can I somehow just give them a check from my personal bank account and then put it through the business?.
I'm confused how to do this. If things work out, I don't want to be paying tons in capital gains, hence I'm considering investing as a business. Please, some help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
