Investing in businesses if not an accredited investor?

Post Body

I liked investing in businesses in my home country. I never did equity, it was basically debt where I would get decent interest rates.

Now I live in Canada and I want to start doing that in Vancouver. I am not a high net worth individual (yet). Can I legally do that if I am not an accredited investor?

Thanks!
