Post Body

I hope this is okay to post in this sub. My buddy (40M) just let me know he has been diagnosed with MS. I haven't been out there in about 6 years and I just crashed on his couch last time. He lives about 2 blocks from the CN tower. I want to come visit him for 2 weeks sometime in August/September, when ever my funds allow me to do so. My question is, am I better off renting something outside of downtown and renting a car? Or am I better off paying the higher price of downtown hotels/bnb's and not needing to rent a car? Crashing at his place isn't an option.

Edit: corrected for wrong tower name.
