Enjoyed p3p and p4 back in the day but missed the p5 train when it initially left the station. Thinking about picking it up, but have 3 main questions first.

1. What, without spoiling anything major, is the main premise? 3 was midnight hour spooky tower, 4 was TV land face your inner demons, what's 5's basic thing?

2. What does royal add? Is it enough to buy over the regular?

3. Persona has always been do x on certain day, do y this day and z the day after otherwise you can't max social links or stats etc, is it still the same? How terrible would it be to play through without any guide first? Enough to make it worth using a guide right from the start?
