Agreed. The romance angle was poorly done. And when she comes back for the episode where he is in the cold car, it feels like they just dropped the romance angle and went back to friendship.

Yeah, every time I think about it I remind myself that Carter had to die so that Cookie could live. She was amazing in both shows, but Cookie is the more dynamic character.
