It's this time of the month again, and I am down with common cold (or something with the same symptoms) yet again. I am so much morally and physically sick and tired of getting sore throat and runny nose every month right before periods. Yes, I have visited a gyno, an otorhinolaringologist and a general practice doctor, no one could help me. My immune system seems to be pretty much robust also. In the Internet all articles seem to just brush it off like it's something that cannot be fixed, but how can getting serious inflammation and missing work or studying days every month be tolerated? I plan visiting an endocrinologist now, but I am pessimistic about the outcomes. Does anybody have positive stories about overcoming period colds?
