Is it normal to use only night pads?

Post Body

I use night pads all day long (changing every two hours or so) during two days of the heaviest flow. The ones labeled as "normal", assuming it's what I should wear, leak constantly in the front and back. Does it mean my flow is too heavy? Could it be so because I am taller and overall bigger than an average female person? I visited a gynecologist for immunity problems before periods, and mentioned this also. She prescribed a blood test and it came back with hemoglobin of 155 g/l so she said my periods could not be heavy, especially regarding my diet. But I find this pads situation strange.
