Low mood during follicular phase instead of luteal?

Had a baby 9 months ago and thought things might have eased up by now. This is the beginning of my 5th cycle since I stopped breastfeeding.

I've been getting symptoms of low mood and headaches/migraines during the late follicular phase right before ovulation. Ive tried researching this but all that I can find is accounts of this happening in the luteal phase. The week before my period, as soon as my fertile window ends I level out emotionally and for the 24 hour window around ovulation I'm fine as well (I'm pretty sensitive to hormonal changes and I know exactly when I'm ovulating, I get cramps and other obvious physiological symptoms).

Has anyone else ever experienced this? Am I an anomaly? Could it be something else? Would love to hear the thoughts of others.
