They need to Improve on Multiple things writing is number One, allow the Kids to Adlib a bit so many of them have amazing chemistry behind scenes and in interviews and do embody their characters well, but the Straight to the point expositional Dialogue. Is the biggest Thing holding the show back

Other than that sets look decent some definitely need more life breathed into them. The Fights and many encounters need to be developed better. Too many times I felt like I was just seeing actors on a set rather than Characters in the world. Like watching the documentary some sets got so much Love then in the show there’s nothing special about them and they feel dead and boring.

The music is definitely the thing the show did pretty well closing my eyes and just listening to the music I feel Epic and alive and like something is happening

Casting A lot of great castings but also some big misses firstly Lance was a perfect Zeus Felt the raw power and felt super Godly, Poseidon Toby definitely gave The Immense power the sea has definitely got the vibe that it would be impossible to try to control him, but lacked in the Carefree chill surfer fisherman dad the later books have him mixed with the Supreme ocean godness, Definitely am hopeful to see more to him. Adam as ares was Fantastic and the best casting I can think of no real comments felt booklike. Hades lacked much and hopefully grows on me and we see the Deadly Scary god that Rules the underworld. Mr. D can’t wait to see more similar vibe to adams performance. And lastly of the gods Hermes I literally only saw Lin didn’t feel like Hermes felt like Lin being Lin he’s like a reverse Johnny depp I only see him as himself not the character. Virginia did amazing as sally and I wish she was my mom ngl. Chiron felt wise and I can’t wait to see more of them. And that’s all ima say for casting if I didn’t comment on it it’s probably pretty good in my eyes

I think Rick tacking a more hands off approach might help as the show needs people that know how to make good shows not someone that makes good books input is important but too much can hurt. Showtime also needs to be expanded on.

Overall show definitely needs improvement and I DO HOPE it gets more seasons and my Rating overall is gonna be a 7/10 I definitely will end up watching it all again straight through and tell people to watch it in hopes they’ll read the books but it’s a good foundation for them to build grow and do better in the future seasons I hope we get to see.
