BPC-157…what am I doing wrong?
Post Body

After months of research, this past summer, I did a short course of BPC-157 (from Peptide Sciences) for neuroinflammation leftover from COVID long-haul. Everything proceeded, as expected. I was a little foggy, but that was entirely expected and was tolerable. What I didn’t expect: My blood pressure was all over the place. I discovered that some of the supplements I was taking were causing issues with serotonin, so I discontinued all of them—I cut my dosage in half and it leveled out. Was able to finish my month run, seeing some notable benefits.

I needed to use up my bottle and went to run a second course a few months ago and started with the lower dose. I discontinued all of my medications/supplements, before I started, except my beta blocker and thyroid meds…just like last time. Again, my blood pressure jumped the fuck up. I do tend to run on the lower side (100/65-70, usually) and thought maybe I was just feeling the baseline raising to a normal-ish number, but I clocked in at 150-something/85 at one point and ultimately gave-up on this run. It felt physically uncomfortable.

I’d like to know what obvious detail I might be missing, since I’m preparing for another purchase. I’m also open to suggestions on other neurogenerative peptides that can assist with neuroinflammation—I loved Thymosin Alpha 1 and intend to add it to my daily regimen, if possible. I’d just like to repair some of the brain fog issues from COVID.
